While in the hospital, Kaitlin decided that she wanted to do something to help all the people who were stuck in the hospital for extended periods of time as she had been. She knew there were many foundations out there to give financial support to the families and the Make-a-Wish foundation to grant a large wish to the terminally ill children; but she wanted something for everyone else.
